What is the 30 Day Savings Challenge?

A 30 day money saving challenge is when you set a goal to spend the next 30 days to saving a certain amount of money. It’s called a challenge because you may need to sacrifice going out one weekend or skip grabbing that latte for a week. But if you need an easy plan to save $500, $1000 or even $2000 in a hurry, this is for you.

The 30 Day Savings Challenge worksheets I created are a little different in that it’s pretty flexible on how much money you need to save per day. The key to success with these is that you’re not just putting away the same dollar amount each day. There are varying amounts and you can choose the amount that works for you on that day.

You will feel good when crossing off the big-dollar days while still knowing that you’re still on track even on smaller savings days. It’s kind of like how some diets build in a “cheat” day.

Save your money in a bank account, put it in an envelope, or stick it in the freezer. You don’t have to do them in order, you can choose any amount to cross off – just make sure you do one per day. No cheating!
